Associazione Progettazione Partecipata Sostenibile (PSP)

L’associazione vuole rendere disponibili agli enti locali, ai progettisti, alle associazioni e ai comitati di abitanti interessati i risultati di venti anni di ricerche nel campo della progettazione partecipata sostenibile  che sono state svolte principalmente da alcuni membri dell’associazione presso l’Università La Sapienza di Roma e l’Università Roma Tre. In questo periodo i numerosi metodi sviluppati e sperimentati sul campo sono stati diffusi tramite l’attività didattica (corsi universitari e master), le pubblicazioni scientifiche e una lunga serie di lavori professionali.

Elena Mortola

Elena Mortola was professor of Design Methods in the University of Rome La Sapienza between 1883 and 1992. Since 1993 she has taught Computer Aided Architectural Design at the Faculty of Architecture of University Roma Tre. In association with the European META University network, she directs a master’s course on Interactive Sustainable Design and Multimedia. She has been visiting professor at universities in Scotland, the Netherlands, Germany, Brazil, Ecuador and Mozambique, and has developed methods in the fields of Environmental Impact Assessment, urban design and CAAD.

Alessandro Giangrande

Alessandro Giangrande taught Design Methods at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Rome La Sapienza from 1973 to 1992. Since 1993 he has taught Environmental Analysis and Evaluation at the Faculty of Architecture of University Roma Tre, where is also the manager of the Information Technology for Sustainable Urban Design Laboratory. He has been involved in various programmes of community planning and design: in particular he has collaborated with the Municipality of Rome in the establishment of the Neighbourhood Municipal Laboratories, and with the municipality of Quito and the San Francisco University in Ecuador in starting up laboratories for sustainable urban development. For the main teaching and research carried out in the last 15 years see
